The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists (CAABJ) is an affiliate chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), a nonprofit organization focused on establishing strong ties among African-Americans working in the media and expanding and balancing the media's coverage of the African-American community and experience.

Bowling with the Journalists is Back!


Bowl with your favorite broadcaster, catch a spare with section editor or hit the pocket with a producer this month, for a good cause. Join Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists next Friday for our annual scholarship fundraiser.

We knock 'em down at 8 pm, Friday July 13th at Northcross Lanes At The Lake, 16317 Statesville Road Huntersville, NC. Your twenty dollars pays for shoes and two hours of bowling.  Proceeds from this event will go to help a deserving college student continue their studies.
