The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists (CAABJ) is an affiliate chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), a nonprofit organization focused on establishing strong ties among African-Americans working in the media and expanding and balancing the media's coverage of the African-American community and experience.

CAABJ Hosts Carolinas NABJ Chapters

The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists (CAABJ) partnered with the Triad Association of Black Journalists and the newly formed South Carolina Association of Black Journalists to host a meeting of Carolinas chapters of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Levine Museum of the New South in Charlotte.
