The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists (CAABJ) is an affiliate chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), a nonprofit organization focused on establishing strong ties among African-Americans working in the media and expanding and balancing the media's coverage of the African-American community and experience.

CAABJ Hosts DNC Mixer Sunday

RSVPs from local, regional and national guests are rolling in for our mixer to kick off coverage of the DNC this Sunday, 6-9 p.m. at Caviar. This exclusive, invitation-only event is free for all CAABJ members and will include political, cultural and thought leaders, as well as some of the nation's best journalists and a special performance by Grammy-winning artist Gerald Albright. Space is limited and RSVP is required, so please respond to the email invitation before Sunday!
