The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists (CAABJ) is an affiliate chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), a nonprofit organization focused on establishing strong ties among African-Americans working in the media and expanding and balancing the media's coverage of the African-American community and experience.

Dee-Dee Strickland of The Charlotte Observer graciously offered to host our next CAABJ chapter meeting at her home on Saturday Nov. 19th at 11 a.m.

This one is on the weekend so all of you folks with off schedules can try and make it.

I am trying to get a good headcount for Dee-Dee as she is going out of her way to buy drinks and food. If you are planning to attend please email me by Nov. 11th (Friday).
