The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists (CAABJ) is an affiliate chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), a nonprofit organization focused on establishing strong ties among African-Americans working in the media and expanding and balancing the media's coverage of the African-American community and experience.

 It's a lot of fun each year, and serves as a fundraiser for our CAABJ College Scholarship.
Members of media and the general public are invited to come out, mix and mingle, bowl, and have fun in supporting a great cause.

Free Admission- Paid CAABJ members
 $20 for Non-Members, which includes bowling and shoes.

NABJ Scholarship Application Extended

Attention Members and Friends!!!
NABJ Scholarship Application has been extended to April 9, 2014. NABJ scholarships are annually given to deserving students interested in pursuing careers in journalism. Scholarships are worth up to $2,500. All applications must be submitted online by the specified deadline- April 9, 2014. You must be a member of NABJ to apply. Click Here to apply.
